Samsung Launches Galaxy Watch 3, Buds Live, and Tab S7

TEMPO.CO, JakartaSamsung Electronics at the Galaxy Unpacked event, Wednesday night, August 5, 2020, in addition to launching the Note 20 series, also launched another device in their ecosystem, namely the Galaxy Tab S7 series, Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Buds Live.

“Previously, we have never had a dependency on technology like today. This is about how we stay connected while we face the big challenges in the world,” said Samsung Electronics President and Head of Mobile Communication Business, TM Roh, during the launch broadcast in person, Wednesday night.

Galaxy Watch 3

Samsung made two designs for their latest smart watches, one made of stainless steel and one made of titanium. Both adopted the rotating bezel design or rotating bezel in the previous model.

Galaxy Watch 3, compared to the initial version of the Galaxy Watch 14 percent thinner, 8 percent smaller and 15 percent lighter.

For the stainless steel version, Watch 3 has a diameter of 45 millimeters with a dimension of 45 x 46.2 x 11.1 millimeters, weighing 53.8 grams. While in the titanium version, this watch is 41 millimeters smaller in diameter, dimensions 41 x 42.5 x 11.3 millimeters, weighs 48.2 grams.

Samsung uses a 360 x 360 Super AMOLED panel, which is protected by corning Gorilla Glass DX.

Galaxy Watch 3 offers new health features in the form of Blood Oxygen to measure oxygen saturation. This device will also get a Samsung Health Monitor, which includes a blood pressure meter and an electrocardiogram (ECG).

Galaxy Buds Live

These bean-shaped earbuds can be connected to cellular devices in the Galaxy ecosystem wirelessly via Bluetooth version 5.0.

Samsung overhauled the design of the Galaxy Buds Live, starting from its location on the casing which is now placed horizontally, to the design of the buds so it doesn’t stick out when pinned to the ear. Buds Live is equipped with three microphones and one voice pickup unit for clear sound when calling.

Samsung claims Galaxy Buds Live can be used for 6 hours, while the charging casing for 15 hours.

Galaxy Tab S7 dan S7 +

The tablets are 11 inches and 12.4 inches respectively, equipped with the same S Pen as the Galaxy Note 20 series.

Both of these tablets have similar specifications, the difference is the size and size of the battery, the Galaxy Tab S7 has 8,000mAh power while the S7 + 10,090mAh, all of which support Super Fast Charging 45W.

As for the engine, the Galaxy S7 tablet series uses a 7nm 64-bit octa-core, 3.0GHz processor. Samsung gives a choice of RAM and ROM of 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. Machine specifications depend on the market where the tablet is circulating.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and the S7 + is equipped with a 13MP and 5MP ultra wide rear camera, and an 8MP front camera.
