Samsung Galaxy S21 unveiled: original design, but we’re not sure you’ll like it (updated: and S21 Ultra is even worse)

Two independent sources have just unveiled what the design of the Galaxy S21 (or S30, depending on what Samsung will decide), the top of the range of the Korean company for next year.

Samsung appears to be adopting a very original design as regards the rear cameras, enclosed in a frame that looks like a single piece with the frame of the smartphone, however protruding more than the rest of the back cover.

The size should be approx 151,7 x 71,2 x 7,9-9 mm, while the screen diagonal should be around 6.2 inch flat. There are still no precise confirmations on the rest of the features, although we speak as always of the Exynos / Qualcomm processor duo. From the rest of the images we sell the USB-C port, the speaker grill and a front camera with a hole in the center of the display. Nothing that is too surprising compared to the past in short.

Presentation waiting for January 2021 (alongside S21 Plus / Ultra), although not yet officially confirmed (but if @evleaks and @onleaks agree, most likely there is some truth). In the meantime we are still wondering if we might like this new course from Samsung or not. On the one hand it is definitely distinctive, which is good in a world of smartphones now very similar to each other, but on the other hand we are not entirely convinced that it is an originality that we like it. What do you think about it?

@OnLeaks also posted some pictures of what it should be like Galaxy S21 Ultra, which takes the original S20 design even further to the extreme, and if we already had some doubts about the former, the latter certainly did not unravel them.

In the case of S21 the screen grows around 6.8 ”, with i curved sides, but it is the rear photographic sector that now occupies almost double the space, albeit with only one more sensor. Based on previous rumors there was talk of two zoom lenses, and one wide angle, in addition to the main sensor. Regarding the hypothetical support for the S Pen, there is no slot in the phone to store the stylus; that doesn’t mean it won’t be able to support it, but it won’t be incorporated into it anyway, at least according to @OnLeaks.

We also report its dimensions: 165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9-10.8 mm, before leaving you to videos and images
