We have been talking about this for some time and rumors are starting to be much more consistent and rich in information. Samsung would work on a Lite and cheaper version of Samsung Galaxy Fold, the company’s first foldable smartphone. According to what Max Weinbach said, the one who was jokingly called “the enemy of Samsung” because he had managed to anticipate some of the most important information from the new Samsung smartphones of the Galaxy S20 series before the official presentation, Samsung Galaxy Fold Lite will implement old and new components. The most recent pieces will be this year, the oldest of 2018.

Samsung Galaxy Fold Lite it may not be compatible with fifth generation networks and support the current network 4G LTE. It will have an aluminum frame, while the outer body will be covered with glass and will be available in the Mirror Black and Mirror Purple colors, the same colors as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold Lite will not be equipped with ultra thin glass (technology adopted on the recent Galaxy Z Flip) and will probably have smaller size than the older brother. According to Max Weinbach’s communication, the the external display of the smartphone will be smaller than that implemented by Galaxy Fold and will approach that of Z Flip.

The SoC, however, should be the most recent Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and could be accompanied up to a maximum of 256 GB of internal storage space. These components should justify a sale price of about one thousand dollars lower than the basic model. Samsung Galaxy Fold Lite, in fact, should be available at a price of around $ 1,099.
