The Samsung Galaxy A72 we’ve been hearing about since last year will have 4G and 5G variants. We already know what the latter will look like, thanks to renderings that leaked last December. We are now taking a look at the Galaxy A72 4G which appeared in official renderings with full specs leaked by the German blog WinFuture.
The Galaxy A72 4G looks like its 5G counterpart. It has a 6.7 ″ FullHD + 90Hz Super AMOLED display up front, with the rear panel housing a quad-camera setup, aligned in the upper left corner.
According to previous rumors, the camera system included primary macro units of 64MP, 12MP ultrawide, 5MP depth and 5MP, but the new leak contradicts this report because it claims that the smartphone will feature an 8MP telephoto lens (2x zoom) and cameras. 2MP macro while keeping the main 64MP and 12MP ultrawide cameras.

The Galaxy A72 4G will come with a 32MP selfie shooter and feature a built-in fingerprint reader for biometric authentication. Under the hood, it will have a Snapdragon 720G SoC, which Geekbench says will be paired with 8GB of RAM. But the source says there will also be a 6GB RAM model.
The smartphone will boot Android 11 and have two storage options – 128 GB and 256 GB. But it will also have a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The Galaxy A72 4G will be rated IP67 and the whole package will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery, charged via a USB-C port. The source doesn’t tell us how fast the Galaxy A72 4G will charge, but the FCC has revealed that it will come with a 25W adapter.
The leaked renderings confirm that the Galaxy A72 4G will be available in at least four colors, and the post says its price will start at 449 € in Europe. This bit conforms to the German portal Idealthe list of, which had the 128 GB model at € 449 and the 256 GB variant at € 509.
