Samsung Galaxy A02, Cheap but not cheap cell phones

AKURAT.CO, Samsung Electronics Indonesia officially presents the latest mobile phone in the entry level segment, namely the Galaxy A02 which has a large battery capacity. The price of this cellphone is only priced at Rp1,499,000.

“The Samsung Galaxy A02 is present in Indonesia as a form of Samsung’s commitment to meet the needs of consumers who want smartphones with batteries, memory and large screens at affordable prices,” said Samsung Electronics Indonesia’s Product Marketing Manager, Irfan Rinaldi, in an official statement, quoted on Friday ( 13/02/2021).

Even though it’s a beginner segment, Samsung dares to provide a large battery capacity and storage capacity that can be expanded up to 1TB with a memory card.

Samsung provides 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space, while the battery embedded in the Galaxy A02 is 5,000 mAh.

This new model in the Galaxy A series comes with a 6.5-inch HD + PLS resolution screen and a V-shaped notch design, Infinity-V Display.

The color choices available in Indonesia are Denim Black and Denim Gray.

Samsung is targeting this phone to watch streaming video, so the Galaxy A02 is also equipped with speakers supported by Dolby Atmos Audio technology.

On the camera, the Samsung Galaxy A02 uses a dual camera configuration on the back, each of which is a 13MP main lens and a 2MP macro lens. On the front there is a 5MP resolution camera.

Meanwhile, competitors also have entry-level mobile phones that also enliven the Indonesian market, namely Realme, C12 for IDR 1,899,000 and Xiaomi with Redmi 9C at IDR 1,599,000.[]
