Samsung Creates Galaxy Watch 4 Strap from Recycled Materials, Priced at 500 Thousands

Jakarta, Selular.ID – Samsung has announced six limited edition bands for the Galaxy Watch 4 which are made from recycled and eco-friendly materials including apple skin.

This collection was created in collaboration with Sami Miro, a fashion designer who specializes in designing clothes made from recycled materials. This watch strap is already available in the market, with prices starting at $ 39.99 or around Rp. 500 thousand.

In terms of design presented by Samsung with Sami Miro, there are a total of six models, two bands Midnight Black and Stratus Sky made from 100 percent apple peel obtained from the fruit industry.

Samsung claims that the material has the appearance of premium leather, without not mixing any animal elements. The other four designs are Aurora Night, Cloud Navy, Earth Sunrise, and Dawn Atlas made of thermoplastic material Polyurethane (TPU) which Samsung says can be recycled.

It is interesting that Samsung does have a commitment to using recycled materials in each of its products, and it is hoped that in the future it will become the standard for the South Korean smartphone manufacturer. And now it is noted that Samsung has used recycled materials in its product packaging.
