Samsung Announces Galaxy S21 Release Date

KOMPAS.com – Long awaited, Samsung finally officially announced the schedule of the event titled ” Galaxy Unpacked “for candidate launch smartphone flagship newest this year.

At the show Galaxy Unpacked which was held at the beginning of the year, Samsung usually introduced the Galaxy S. In event this time, it was most likely the stage was prepared for Galaxy S21.

The schedule for Galaxy Unpacked 2021 was announced by Samsung via its official Instagram account today, Monday (4/1/2021). The event will be broadcast live via the Samsung.com website on January 14, 2021 at 22.00 WIB.

Before Samsung Mobile officially announced the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung Mobile in India had already confirmed the launch of the South Korean manufacturer’s flagship phone in December 2020.

Samsung’s office in India has also confirmed to the site SamMobile that the Galaxy S21 will launch on that date. The Samsung Experience Store in India has even opened a tap blind pre-orderr for Galaxy S21.

Meanwhile, in Indonesia, the Galaxy S21 mobile phone series has been known to pass the Domestic Content Level (TKDN) test. The indication is a certificate numbered 1985 / SJ IND.8 / TKDN / 12/2020, dated December 16, 2020, on the P3DN website of the Ministry of Industry.

The certificate contains code names for three devices, namely SM-G991B, SM-G996B, and SM-G998B, each of which meets the TKDN requirements with a content level of 32.7 percent.

Information circulating on the internet states that SM-G991B is the code name for the standard version of the Galaxy S21, then SM-G996B is the Galaxy S21 Plus, while the SM-G998B refers to the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Thus, the Galaxy S21 line is likely to be sold in Indonesia shortly after its introduction on January 14.
