    Protests against corona restrictions in several US cities

    With the backing of President Donald Trump, hundreds of people in several US cities protested Saturday against the exit restrictions imposed by the corona pandemic. Around 400 demonstrators gathered in Concord, the state capital of New Hampshire. There were about 200 in Annapolis, Maryland, and more than 250 in Austin, Texas.

    In Concord, the demonstrators held up signs saying “The numbers lie” and shouted slogans like “Live free or die”. Several rally participants were armed and covered their faces.

    Spain plans to extend lockdown until May 9th

    Now more than 100 dead in Styria

    Styria is the first federal state to have more than 100 coronavirus deaths. According to information from the State Medical Directorate on Saturday evening (as of 7:00 p.m.), two other people infected with the coronavirus have died. A total of 101 people died with or from Covid-19. 52 of them were men, 49 women.

    The most recent deaths are two women (born in 1924 and 1930) from the Graz area. Most of the deaths in Styria are in the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district with a total of 27 deceased.

    Number of deaths in Salzburg rose to 29

    In Salzburg, the number of new infections detected remains at a low level. In the past 24 hours (as of 5 p.m.), the country only reported seven other cases. However, the number of deaths related to Covid-19 has increased to 29. The death of an 83-year-old man in a retirement home was reported to the health authorities on Friday evening.
