‘Sálvame’ will stop broadcasting on Telecinco, after being involved in a police plot

Goodbye to the “Deluxe”. Telecinco will stop broadcasting popular friday show. The news has jumped this weekend and has surprised the followers of the programwhat they disagree with the determination of the Mediaset flagship.

More than a goodbye, the “Deluxe” is a see you later. And it is that the cessation of broadcasts of the program has an expiration date. It will only be during the first two weeks. Afterwards, if nothing changes, it will return to the small screen.

This break comes after a deep crisis of audience in all the programs of the “Universe Save Me” and the implication in an alleged case of corruptionfor which some collaborators of the program would have used their relationship with the police to obtain private data from personalities of the heart.

The “Deluxe” began broadcasting in 2009. Since then it has remained on the air. It is presented by Jorge Javier Vázquez. On occasions, this position has been held by María Patiño and Terelu Campos. It has various collaborators such as Belén Esteban, Lydia Lozano, Jimmy Giménez-Arnau, Víctor Sandoval or Chelo García-Corqués.

During the first three months of 2021 and on other occasional occasions, the program was also broadcast on Sunday nights under the name of Sunday Deluxe. Between May 21 and September 3, 2021, the program returned to Friday night with the name of Deluxe Friday, returning to Saturday from the following week. Thus, the program adds the day of the week to its name depending on the day it is broadcast.
