USA- The biopic on the scandalous death of Maurizio Gucci entitled “House of Gucci” is still in filming and the Mexican actress Salma Hayek joined the cast as the best friend of Lady Gaga’s character.
House of Gucci, Riddley Scott’s new film continues its filming and has become one of the most anticipated titles of 2021. Ironically, Martin Scorsese was interested in directing this biopic about one of the most notorious scandals in the international tabloids, but He passed the baton to Scott who to our surprise chose Oscar nominee Lady Gaga to take the central role from Adam Driver.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, filming in the industry takes longer than expected, less production equipment, cast testing and involvement every three days, which has made the filming process longer.
This has also allowed new signings to join the film and the name that enters this famous story is neither more nor less than Salma Hayek, who would have been chosen to play Pina Auriemma, the best friend of Patrizia Reggiani (Gaga) and personal psychic of the alleged murderer.
The full name of the woman is Giuseppina Auriemma and she was practically considered a sister of Patrizia, which is why she was a key piece in the organization of the murder of Maurizio.
Salma joins big names within the cast like Jared Leto who will be Paolo Gucci; AL Pacino will play Aldo Gucci; Jeremy Irons will be Rodolfo Gucci; and Robert de Niro.
Salma will premiere Marvel Studios’ Eternal and The Hitman’s Wife Bodyguard, a sequel to the 2017 action film headed by Ryan Reynolds.
