Salač did not start the Brno Grand Prix until the 26th time

Motorcycle rider Filip Salač took 26th place in the introductory training for the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic in Brno.

The only Czech at the start of the World Cup was the twentieth in the morning, in the afternoon he lost one place, but in the combination of times he was even worse. The 18-year-old set a time of 2: 10.327 and was 1.715 seconds behind the fastest Argentine, Gabriel Rodrigo.

Salač scored the fastest time in the penultimate round in the morning, in the afternoon, like most opponents, he set slower times. Out of the elite ten, only the Spaniard Jaume Masiá improved in the second practice, but he fell in the morning. Moto3 category leader Albert Arenas from Spain was eighth today.

In MotoGP, the fastest winner of the two World Championship races so far was Fabio Quartararo from France, who set the first time in the last round of both training sessions. However, the second Italian, Franco Morbidelli, was only seven thousandths of a second behind him and two other opponents fit into one tenth. The race weekend was over for the Italian Francesco Bagnaiu, who broke his leg and had to go to the hospital.

In Moto2, the British Sam Sam Lowes was the most successful in entering the race weekend, setting the best time in the morning. The leader of the championship, Tecuja Nakashima from Japan, was sixth.

The fourth part of the world championship takes place in the south of Moravia for the first time in history without the presence of spectators. On Saturday, the third trainings are on the program first and at 12:35 the qualifications will start. The main races will traditionally take place on Sundays.
