Saint-Paul-en-Chablais city council met on Monday May 25 to elect the mayor and assistants.

Monday, May 25, the election of the mayor and his deputies was held in the Salle de la Gavotine, two months after the municipal elections. Before proceeding to the vote, Bruno Gillet, outgoing mayor, wished to observe a minute of silence in order to pay tribute to the previous elected officials of the municipality to which they devoted time.
Re-elected with 15 votes in his favor, Bruno Gillet head of list of ‘‘ Let’s live Saint-Paul ’’ left for a third mandate against 3 votes for Christian Podevin, head of list of ‘‘ Saint-Paul together and otherwise ’’.
Also elected were Marie-Françoise Pauthier, 1st deputy; Christophe Trincat, 2nd deputy; Marie-Claire Ducret, 3rd assistant; Thierry Laurant, 4th assistant and Sophie Zimmermann, 5th assistant.
Two delegated advisers were also appointed by the chief magistrate: Florine Wiart for finance and Max Michoux for water.
After recalling the major axes of his campaign such as the family including the creation of a micro-crèche and a house of elders, the environment and the economy with the extension of the Créto area, the mayor closed the session on questioning: ” How to imagine Saint-Paul in 6 years
