Saint Girons. High school students present their film in Paris

The students of the second professional baccalaureate from the Bergès high school took part in the competition I film the job that I like, the objective of which is to make high school students aware of the professional world. It was also a unique opportunity to appropriate codes, know-how and know-how specific to the different trades, and why not to discover their own talents and their path. Christiane Bonté, history literature teacher, and Rénald Wattiau, building layout and finishing teacher accompanied them in the making of this film, “the family of sustainable construction trades”.

The students involved in this adventure have experienced exceptional moments on the educational and human level, they have developed their sense of imagination, initiative and creativity during the writing of the scenario. This experience was a real team effort for the choice of shots, rushes, music, editing and developed digital skills.

The class was selected and was able to participate in the official claps ceremony, the trophies that reward the winners. At the Grand Rex in Paris, the largest cinema in Europe, the students of the Lycée Bergès discovered their production on the big screen. This short trip to the capital also allowed the students to discover places steeped in culture and history, the Place de la Bastille, the Louvre, the Center Pompidou, the Champs-Élysées and the Eiffel Tower.
