Saint-Étienne hits twice in Marseille

The victory, the first place in the standings and an invincibility of Marseille of 41 years completed. Claude Puel’s men, who celebrated their 600th game as a coach, will long remember their trip to the Stade Vélodrome. Romain Hamouma opened the scoring (6th) and, even if Aké touched the crossbar of Jessy Moulin (54th), the Gabonese Bouanga gave the Greens two lengths (75th). With three wins in three matches, six goals scored and zero conceded, Saint-Étienne has made a perfect start to the season. The Ligériens will have to confirm Sunday in Nantes while the Bucco-Rhodaniens will receive the same day Lille.
