The show has also seen other controversial ‌moments, ⁤including NBC ‌removing⁤ upside-down American flags from Rage Against the Machine’s amps‌ in 1996 and Ashlee Simpson’s vocal performance mishap in 2004.

Separately, ‍on Friday, former President Donald J.
