Thiruvananthapuram: Former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has said that the Congress does not want to make Sabarimala a political agenda. The current issue is that the government is not ready to change the affidavit given in the Supreme Court. Oommen Chandy said that if the government is with the believers, the affidavit should be withdrawn.
Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala asked if the LDF had the courage to say that it was with the devotees on the Sabarimala issue. The Left Front needs to make it clear whether it is with the believers or not. Ramesh Chennithala also demanded that the Chief Minister should take off the hypocrisy of the renaissance leader.
