Ryanair cancels almost all flights to and from Abruzzo airport as it has done similarly in numerous Italian and European airports.
As Ansa Abruzzo reports, at the basis of the decision, based on what is learned, there would be an increase in infections, driven by the Omicron variant, and the Covid-19 emergency.
Therefore, from 9 January, the Irish company suspends all flights currently active in the Pescara airport except for Bergamo Orio al Serio.
The flights to Brussels Charleroi, Bucharest, Frankfurt Hahn, London Stansted, Malta and Turin will no longer be operational, at least until the beginning of February.
