The company points out that the Irish low-cost airline “Ryanairhas signed an agreement to purchase 75 Boeing 737 Max aircraft.
The order came after the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) last month allowed the re-use of the Boeing 737 Max in air transport, which was banned last March after two model crashes that claimed 346 lives.
With this new deal, Ryanair has ordered a total of 210 Boeing 737 Max aircraft worth more than $ 22 billion.
The aircraft will be delivered to the airline between spring 2021 and December 2024.
