“During the night, as a result of the successfully carried out next stage of the military operation with the infliction of fire strikes by our missile and artillery units on Zmeiny Island, the enemy hastily evacuated the remnants of the garrison two speedboats and presumably left the island. Now Serpentine is covered with fire, explosions are heard,” the message says.
The command added that the final results of the operation are being reconnoitered.
What preceded this
It is worth noting that repeatedly statements were made from the Ukrainian command that our fighters continue operation on Snake Island, designed for a long period and its complete liberation from the invaders.
It also became known that The Ukrainian military carried out at least 10 strikes against the enemy position on the island.
As previously reported, Armed Forces of Ukraine dealt a massive blow to the Russian garrison on Zmeinas a result of which a significant number of invaders were destroyed.
