Russian soldiers threaten to kill all Mariupol residents who do not wear white bracelets

Russian soldiers are forcing Mariupol residents to wear white bracelets as they move around the city, Petro Andrushchenko, an adviser to Mariupol mayor Vadim Boychenko, reports on the Telegram.

Mariupol residents have said that Russian soldiers are already openly threatening to shoot them.

“The occupiers have moved from ‘soft’ proposals to civilians to wear white ribbons (..) to the imminent threat of opening fire on anyone on the street without such markings,” Andrushchenko said.

The Russians are gradually turning Mariupol into a real Ukrainian ghetto, while using civilians as bait to locate the Ukrainian army, Andrushchenko said.
