Office Russia made a controversial statement mentioning that German not really an independent country.

Secretary of the Russian National Security Council, Nikolay Patrushev, considered Germany to be in the most suffering position in the midst of the war between Ukraine and Russia.

Russia is called Patrushev as the country that suffers the most losses because it is very dependent on energy sources from Russia. Meanwhile, on the other hand, it is no longer possible for the country to cooperate closely with Moscow because of their alliance with the United States and a number of Western countries.

Patrushev also assessed that Germany’s obedience was like being colonized by allied countries, which put the country in a dilemma.

Germany for many years has been trying to build its economy between the combination of cheap energy from Russia and their technological advances. The country is aware that a terrorist attack (on the Nord Stream gas pipeline) will have a devastating effect on the destruction of the German economy,” Patrushev said as quoted by Russia Today .

Patrushev then assessed that the benefits of German business, which so far enjoyed access to fuel from Russia, had long irritated the US and the UK. However, he considered that Germany did not have the freedom to cooperate with Russia because “the German state is not independent.”

“Washington pushed Berlin away from its economic and environmental agenda and kept 35,000 (allied) military personnel on their soil,” Patrushev said.

“For years the White House controlled (former German Chancellor) Angela Merkel and now they control German leaders cajoled into supporting their version of gas pipeline sabotage,” he added.
