Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Roman Kopylov defeated Punahili Soriano from the USA at UFC Fight Night 217 (UFC Vegas 67). The middleweight fight ended with a technical knockout in the second round.
The 30-year-old Kopylov now has 10 wins and 2 losses. Soriano has 8 wins and 3 losses.
The fight was the third most important in the tournament. The main event will be a fight between American Sean Strickland and French fighter of Russian origin Nassurdin Imavov.
