Economist, head of the “finance and economics” direction of the Institute of Contemporary Development Nikita Maslennikov said that the current time is the most favorable for Russians in terms of buying household appliances and electronics.
According to the expert, at the moment there are positive trends in the country’s economy. He noted that prices for many goods have been stabilized and even reduced.
“From the point of view of consumption, now is a favorable time to confidently purchase household appliances, various kinds of electronic gadgets, since prices for the food basket as a whole are currently declining, but further, most likely, they will only grow,” Maslennikov quotes Radio 1.
The economist also added that in the second half of the year the Russian economy will be in a difficult situation due to increased inflationary pressure. For this reason, commodity prices will rise again.
