In Russia, a vaccine against coronavirus has been developed for children, it can be called “Sputnik M”, and in the name M means “for the little ones”.
This was announced by Alexander Ginzburg, director of the Gamaleya Center, who developed the “Sputnik V” vaccine, RIA Novosti reported, quoted by BNR.
The center has already submitted documents to the Russian Ministry of Health for registration of the drug.
Immunization of children will be voluntary, will be done only with the consent of parents or guardians, said Russian Deputy Health Minister Alexei Kuznetsov.
