TRIBUNNEWS.COM, RUSSIA – The good news came from Russia.
The Russian Ministry of Defense suddenly withdrew its troops from Snake Island in the Black Sea as of today, Thursday (30/6/2022).
Snake Island has a vital status in the war between Russia and Ukraine.
The island is a strategic battleground for controlling the western Black Sea, including the traffic of Ukrainian export products to other countries.
“If Russian troops succeed in occupying Snake Island and setting up their long-range air defense system, they will control the sea, land and air in the northwestern part of the Black Sea and in the south of Ukraine,” Ukrainian military expert By Zhdanov told BBC last week.
The troop withdrawal took place ahead of the President’s meeting Jokowi with the President Vladimir Putin in Moscow this afternoon local time.
And it happened shortly after Jokowi met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiev.

Yesterday, President Jokowi meet the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskythe Kiev.
