The Russian Baltic Fleet has reported that a detachment of warships is being sent to the Atlantic. The group is currently in one of the Mediterranean bays, expecting better weather conditions.
The squadron reportedly left the Syrian port of Tartus on 8 April. The Baltic Fleet does not give details about the mission in the Atlantic.
The long voyage of the Stoyky corvette, the Kola tanker and the Yakov Grebelsky tug began in mid-December last year.
