Russia Launches Missile Attack on Ukraine, Hits Airfield and Infrastructure Facilities in Sumy Region

On the night of June 4, Russia launched another missile attack on Ukraine, two missiles hit the airfield near Kropyvnytskyi, the Air Force of Ukraine reported.

The Russian military used five Iranian Shahed-136/131 attack drones from the Bryansk region, as well as six Kh-101/Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles. They were fired from six Tu-95 bombers from the Caspian region.

“Out of six missiles, four were destroyed by air defense, and two missiles, unfortunately, hit the operational airfield near Kropyvnytskyi. Of course, I will not talk about the consequences,” said Yuri Ignat, speaker of the Air Force.

In addition, the Russians hit infrastructure facilities in the Sumy region.
