Russia continues large-scale exercises, including in Crimea

Restrictions on flights over part of the peninsula and the sea were introduced for four days – until Sunday.

Russia announced the introduction of restrictions on flights over part of the Crimea and the Black Sea from April 20 to 24. This is stated in the International Notice to Pilots (NOTAM).

“The area has been declared temporarily dangerous for aircraft flights,” the document says.

The flight restriction zone up to an altitude of 19 thousand meters includes airspace over the southern part of Crimea (from Sevastopol to Feodosia), territorial waters adjacent to the southern coast of Crimea, as well as over part of the international waters of the Black Sea.

Earlier, Russia closed the passage of foreign warships and other state ships until November. in a number of areas of the Black Sea.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expressed a strong protest on this matter.

Condemned the actions of the Russian Federationand the United States, the European Union, and NATO.
