He also noted that the invaders are beginning to prepare for the defense of the borders.

“Now the third phase has come – when they begin to prepare to defend the lines where they stopped. This indicates that they have decided to turn the war into a very long one … They are counting on the crises that the war causes to put the West at the negotiating table with them, and the West will try to exchange us for something,” he said.
