Flying Wild Hog and Jagex have teamed up to develop a new sci-fi RPG.
Jagex has signed an agreement with Flying Wild Hog to launch a new multi-format living game planned for 2021.
The game will launch on the new Jagex publishing platform, and there are plans for both open and closed beta phases before launch.
This will be the first title to be signed with Jagex’s third-party publishing division, Jagex Partners.
Built with Unreal Engine 4, the game promises to offer a “rich, deep, connected and customizable multiplayer action role-playing game experience”, filled with adventures set in a sci-fi universe.
More details on the Flying Wild Hog title will be revealed in the coming months.
Alo coming from Flying Wild Hog in 2021 is Shadow Warrior 3, which was announced during the Devolver Direct broadcast in July. Action shooter can be wishlist now on Steam.
Meanwhile, you can play a new game developed by the studio, called Devolverland Expo. The free game is a first-person “marketing simulator” set in an abandoned convention center after the annual Devolver Digital gaming expo was mysteriously canceled.
