It is now clear that Modern Warfare 2 is getting a remaster, but according to an insider, the game comes much earlier than we think: tomorrow.
Modern Warfare 2 Remastered may be released on March 30. That says Twitter user Okami13.
Okami13 previously leaked the arrival of a Gunfight beta for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and details for the Warzone mode. Now the Twitterer, whose account has since been removed, says the remaster’s release date is March 30.
TheGamingRevolution, another insider, adds that Activision may not be adding Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer mode to the remaster, but will bring different maps to the current Modern Warfare game.
Last week already promotional material for the remaster found in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Players who purchase the new Ghost Pack: Oil Rig Bundle would receive the remaster for free. The game was also released rated in Korea.
Officially, nothing is yet known about the remaster.
