[Rumeur] Ubisoft would work on its own battle royale – News

New rumors and information suggest that Ubisoft is about to begin the teasing of a battle royale that would take the form of a nervous FPS.

According to information posted by Rod Breslau on Twitter, Ubisoft would start this teasing today, by presenting a project that would code name Prisma Dimension, but whose real title will be Hyper Scape. The title would be developed by Ubisoft Montreal and would be offered as a free-to-play taking place in a futuristic mode, with a release scheduled for July 12, after a short closed beta phase which would start next week.

The date is not trivial, since it is the date on which Ubisoft will hold its online conference, called Ubisoft Forward. Still according to Rod Breslau, Hyper Scape would be developed in connection with streamers to allow strong interaction between Twitch and players. We mention in particular the possibility that the chat would have to intervene directly to trigger various events. Hyper Scape will also be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X, and will include crossplay. Obviously, in the absence of formalization on the part of Ubisoft, all this is to be taken with beautiful tweezers.
