Ennepe-Ruhr district – Corona update July 18, 2020: (pen) There are 518 confirmed corona cases in the Ennepe-Ruhr district (as of Saturday, July 18, 9 a.m.), of which 468 are considered recovered. The number of infections has increased by 3 in the last 24 hours.
In the hospitals in the district there are currently 3 patients with corona infections in hospital treatment. Two of them are under intensive care, one is ventilated.
The currently 36 sick people live in Ennepetal (1), Gevelsberg (6), Hattingen (6), Herdecke (3), Schwelm (1), Sprockhövel (1), Wetter (1) and Witten (17). Nobody in Breckerfeld is currently ill with the corona virus. The healthy come from Breckerfeld (13), Ennepetal (24), Gevelsberg (47), Hattingen (78), Herdecke (37), Schwelm (60), Sprockhövel (40), Wetter (41) and Witten (128).
14 people from the Ennepe-Ruhr district died with or from the corona virus. They come from Ennepetal (3), Gevelsberg (3), Hattingen (2), Schwelm (2), Wetter (2) and Witten (2).
Domestic quarantine is ordered for confirmed cases as well as for justified suspected cases. Overall, this requirement applies to 159 people in the district.
