The Lakers have won back-to-back road trips. First they defeated the Bucks and then slaughtered the Wizards. They recently went on a three-game winning streak. In the last 10 games, they have 8 wins and 2 losses.

It’s not like the Lakers that have been “glued together” for the past couple of years, is it?

“AD” Anthony Davis played like the MVP of the year, averaging 35 points and 15 rebounds in his last 10 games, and his shooting percentage exceeded 60%. Several Lakers role players have been adapted: Russell Westbrook has become the most important point of ball possession and creativity of the Lakers bench, while Austin Reaves has successfully played the role of the Lakers backcourt organization and 3D+ driver . Jr.’s stable output, super speed and explosive power make the Lakers more powerful.

“Old James” LeBron James is truly delegating power, making the CEO the core of the Lakers offense and defense. The most insufficient position for the Lakers is small forward, 198cm forward Troy Brown Jr. is improving, even if he is not quite right, he still has room and talent to dig in.

The Lakers’ formation and combination aren’t perfect, they also need a better small forward with height and speed who can defend, throw into the perimeter, and be good at running empty handed. This player model is like Trevor Ariza, the championship winning small forward of the Lakers and James Posey, the small forward of the Heat, off the ball, 3 positions.

Judging by the Lakers’ current performance and the team’s degree of offensive and defensive integration, do the Lakers have yet to trade Russell Westbrook?

“Lakers should no longer consider trading Turtles”

“The Lakers can take a suitable 200-205 cm small forward from the free market, but there is no need to force”

“If a trade is really needed and it has to be an option, guard Kendrick Nunn can be fired.” If you really want to fire people to make room, small forward Juan Toscano-Anderson, who is no longer in the lineup of rotation, may surrender”.

The Lakers backcourt is complete now. Dennis Schroder, Turtle and Patrick Beverley all have ball and creativity. Austin Reaves is well rounded and easy to use on offense and defense. He doesn’t occupy the ball. The Lakers’ backcourt defense isn’t top-notch, but it’s good enough and deep enough. Take on all strong teams.

Troy Brown still has room for improvement, youngsters still have talent to exploit, the Lakers’ coaching staff needs to be patient and refine this little striker more.

In the penalty area, center Thomas Bryant with a height of 208cm and forward Wenyen Gabriel with a height of 205cm are insignificant workers and defenders. Lao Zhan assists in the penalty area defense and protects rebounds, which is very suitable as a defensive sacrifice.

The Lakers’ core rotation lineup is nearly complete and only adjustments and updates are needed in its place.

Adaptation takes time and luck, and upgrading combat power and equipment can only be done through trade, but there are also risks.

“No trade is the best decision for the current situation of the Lakers”

“With height and perimeter + small forward defensively, there may be suitable candidates in the open market. The Lakers can wait.”

“The Lakers team has a tacit understanding, personnel rotation and role players are taking shape. It is the best decision not to move the main main force”

“Lakers coach Darvin Ham’s employment, coaching and player confidence are on track”

“Old Zhan can still play more stable and better, and the turtle’s error control can be even better.”

“Austin Reaves’ playing time, role and tactical ball rights can be increased. He can help the Lakers team better”

The Lakers have a weird vibe right now: Austin Reaves on the court, on the ball, off the ball, can help the Lakers get better. Even though the second-year NBA rookie is on the bench and the veterans, Patrick Beverley and Dennis Schroder play the main game, giving up time and space, the Lakers still have depth.

A rookie with rookie cognition, who plays hard to hit the ball, takes opportunities to show maximum value, plays with competent teammates and benches off the field, doesn’t care about playing time and space, and doesn’t make confuse by tactical roles and possessions. Reaves is very special.

The Lakers are on the right track, the team, offense and defense are cohesive, the Lakers do not need and will not trade “Turtle” Russell Westbrook.
