THIRUVANANTHAPURAM> The criminal section discovered that a group led by RSS activist Prakash, who was killed last January, set fire to Swami Sandeepanandagiri’s ashram in Kundamankadavu. Prashant’s brother issued a statement to the criminal branch that Prakash said he was the one who set the ashram on fire.
Prashant’s statement is that Prashant was brutally beaten by RSS members on January 2, fearing the ashram fire incident would be exposed and Prashanth committed suicide at home in frustration. Prashant also says that Prakash had face and neck injuries. It was reported that Prakash, who was the head of the Kundamanbhaga branch, was expelled from the RSS just days before he was killed.
