Royal⁢ Jordanian Launches New Route connecting Amman and Casablanca, Strengthening Ties‌ Between Levant and‌ North africa

Amman, ‍Jordan – October ‍15, 2025 – Royal Jordanian⁤ (RJ) commenced ⁣direct, regular flights⁣ between Amman and Casablanca today, October 16th, operating twice weekly. The new ⁣service, utilizing the ⁤airline’s ​latest ‍Airbus A320neo aircraft, signals a ⁤significant expansion of RJ’s network and a commitment to boosting tourism to Jordan.‌ The ⁢announcement was made via the Jordanian news agency Petra.

According⁣ to Samer Majali, Vice President ‍and General Manager‍ of⁤ Royal‍ Jordanian, the launch of this route reflects a collaborative effort between Jordan and morocco to⁣ enhance bilateral relations. “this new ⁢connection stems from a mutual desire to strengthen exchanges and ​ease travel for⁣ citizens,students,and business professionals from both nations,” Majali stated. He further emphasized ‍the‍ route’s potential to foster economic, commercial, and tourism ⁣growth between the two kingdoms.

Majali highlighted the strategic importance of adding Casablanca to the RJ network, positioning⁣ Jordan to better serve key ‌North African markets. he described Morocco as “a land ⁢of history and economic vitality,” offering ‍travelers ⁢convenient ‍access to the broader cultural richness of ​the Maghreb region.

The airline’s long-term vision centers on promoting⁤ tourism⁢ to Jordan and expanding⁤ its‍ international reach, with the​ ultimate goal of establishing Amman as ⁢a ⁣primary gateway to the Levant. The addition of ​Casablanca‌ complements recent network expansions to major cities including ​Washington, Berlin, Mumbai, and Moscow.
