Rows of Messages Touching MotoGP Racers After Rossi Retired

Valentino Rossi officially retired after racing at MotoGP Valencia 2021, Sunday (14/11). After retiring, many words flowed from the MotoGP racers and legends to Rossi.

Rossi finished in 10th position at the Valencia MotoGP which took place at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Sunday (14/11) night WIB.

This race was very emotional for Rossi because it was the last race of The Doctor after declaring his retirement as a MotoGP racer.

After the race, many words poured in from the MotoGP racers and legends for Rossi, including the 2021 MotoGP world champion Fabio Quartararo. Quartararo admitted that Rossi’s farewell moment with MotoGP was very special.

“Vale is my idol and this is a very special moment, because I won the championship in the year he retired,” said Fabio Quartararo. Formula Passion.

In fact, he idolized him so much that he carried Rossi’s VR46 flag after finishing at the 2021 Valencia MotoGP.

“I also want to say a big thank you because (Rossi) has done so much for MotoGP. It was a difficult but exciting weekend. Seeing the bike he brought to become world champion was a very special moment. The 2004 bike made me excited, because in that year I started looking at MotoGP”.

Quartararo holds the status as a factory racer after being recruited by Monster Energy Yamaha in the 2021 MotoGP to replace Rossi.

“I was very nervous at the beginning of the year when I took over from Valentino. Took the bike and didn’t know how the fans could ride it. It was complicated,” concluded Quartararo.


Meanwhile, MotoGP legend Jorge Lorenzo who had become Rossi’s rival in MotoGP considers The Doctor to be the most charismatic racer in the world.

“Valentino made history in MotoGP. A very talented and complete racer who won many championships. He is undoubtedly the most charismatic, which makes people who are not interested in MotoGP to observe this motorcycle racing competition,” said Lorenzo quoted from Motor Cycle Sports.

“Everyone who took part in the MotoGP world including myself must thank you. The void it has left is huge, but I am sure now you will be dedicated to new projects that are equally satisfying.”
