Rowan university Announces Fall Sports Fan Experience lineup: Freebies, Prizes & fun for Profs!
Glassboro, NJ – September 10, 2024 – Rowan University Athletics is gearing up for an exciting fall season, and they’re inviting students and fans to join the action with a series of themed game day experiences. From “white Out” soccer matches to a Halloween-themed “Kick or Treat” night, there’s something for everyone.And the best part? Rowan students get in free to most events!
Here’s a breakdown of the upcoming promotional schedule, packed with opportunities to win prizes, enjoy free food, and cheer on the Profs:
September 10: White Out Games – Soccer Doubleheader
Kick off the year with a “White Out” at the soccer and Lacrosse Complex! The men’s soccer team takes on SUNY Cortland at 4:00 PM, followed by the women’s soccer team facing off against Swarthmore at 7:00 PM. The first 100 Rowan students at each game will receive a free t-shirt.beat the heat with complimentary ice pops during the men’s game, and stay for a chance to win $1,000 in Boro Bucks at halftime of the women’s match.
October 8: Tailgate at the Turf – Field Hockey Showdown
Get ready for a South Jersey showdown as the Rowan Field Hockey team battles Stockton at 6:00 PM at Richard Wackar Stadium. But the fun starts an hour earlier with a Tailgate at the Turf! Enjoy tacos, desserts, and games while cheering on the Profs. All Rowan students in attendance will be entered to win an Eagles Starter Pack – complete with tailgating chairs, tumblers, and an ice chest. one lucky fan will even get a chance to win a 22″ Blackstone Griddle with an on-field accuracy challenge!
October 14: fan Appreciation & Youth Night - volleyball Action
Cool off with free Mr. Softee’s (for the first 100 fans) at the Women’s Volleyball game against Montclair State at 7:00 PM in Esbjornson Gymnasium.Rowan students with ID have a chance to participate in a “Serve It Up” contest for Rowan Athletics prizes. And don’t forget to show off your Croc pride – wear them and receive an exclusive RU croc jibbit!
October 15: Profs Under the Lights – Men’s soccer
Break up your week with an evening of Men’s Soccer as the Profs take on Stockton at 6:00 PM at the Soccer and Lacrosse Complex. The first 150 fans will receive a glow stick and Rowan Athletics rally towel to light up the night. At halftime, two lucky students will compete for a chance to win a 60″ TV in a thrilling kick-to-win challenge.
October 22: Kick or Treat Night – Women’s soccer & Spooky Fun
Celebrate spooky season with the Rowan women’s Soccer team as they face Kean at 6:00 PM at the Soccer and Lacrosse Complex. Every Profs goal means free candy for fans! Warm up with hot chocolate and wear your best costume for a chance to win a special prize. Don’t miss the Pumpkin Penalty Kick Challenge at halftime for even more prizes.
october 25: Fan Appreciation Day – Football
Rowan Football takes on Salisbury at 1:00 PM at Coach wackar Stadium for Fan Appreciation Day. Details for this event are forthcoming.
