Since Monday January 4, a large majority of the drivers of the Roullé company, in Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray, have been on strike. The company is part of the Mertz group, other sites are affected in France. At issue: the negotiation of an agreement on long-term partial unemployment, texts allowed by the health crisis.
The impact of Covid
“Management would like us to waive 30% of our compensation if the number of days worked is less than 14, and maintain our wages at 93% when we work more than 14 days. On the management side, it is pointed out that a series of five proposals has been formulated, that there are no undelivered customers (the company distributes petroleum products in particular in service stations): “These are proposals to minimize the possible impact of the Covid crisis. “
According to the employees, 160 of them, the majority, were on strike.
