Rossoneri Draw 1-1 at Home

AC Milan failed to get perfect points at home Udinese in Serie A. Rossoneri were held to a 1-1 draw with Zebrette.

Milan vs Udinese to be the 27th giornata’s opening duel Italian League 2021/2022. The match was held at the San Siro, Saturday (26/2/2022) early morning WIB.

The home team led 1-0 at half-time through Rafael Leao’s goal. Udinese equalized in the second half via Destiny Udogie’s goal, as well as forcing the duel to a 1-1 draw.

This result does not change Milan’s position at the top Italian League standings with 57 points. Meanwhile, Udinese rose to 14th position with 26 points.

The course of the match

Milan appear attacking since the beginning of the game. Opportunities were obtained through Davide Calabria’s kick in the 28th minute, but the ball was still wide of the Udinese goal.

GOAL! Milan broke the deadlock one minute later. Rafael Leao listed his name on the scoreboard.

The Portuguese winger received Sandro Tonali’s cross in the penalty box, before controlling the ball and kicking it into the Udinese goal. Milan leads 1-0.

Udinese almost equalized five minutes before the break. Beto’s header in the penalty box was blocked by Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan.

There were no additional goals until the break. The first half closed for Milan 1-0 advantage.

Udinese played more attacking after the break. Tolgay Arslan’s low shot in the 58th minute slid thin next to the Milan goal.

GOAL! The visitors equalized eight minutes later. Substitute Destiny Udogie scored a tap-in using Roberto Pereyra’s overhead ball in the penalty box. The position changed 1-1.

Udinese almost turned ahead in the minute of injury time. Gerard Deulofeu’s shot on target was parried by Maignan.

The 1-1 score lasted until the long whistle sounded. Milan and Udinese had to settle for sharing one point.
