Former captain of the English national team Wayne Rooney has received a negative Covid-19 test, but is angry at a friend who visited him without saying he may have Covid-19, a footballer said in his Twitter account on Monday.
A friend has not been warned that he has been tested for coronavirus and has visited a Derby County footballer. Later, a friend was diagnosed with Covid-19.
Just received the news that my covid-19 test has shown I do not have the virus. Delighted for myself and family but obviously angry and disappointed that I now have to self-isolate and miss vital games for @dcfcofficial

The 34-year-old English football legend says he is still annoyed that he has to go through ten days of self-isolation.
“I have just been told that the Covid-19 test does not show the presence of this virus in my body,” Rooney wrote on Twitter.
“I’m happy for myself and my family, but obviously angry and disappointed that I have to isolate myself now and skip important Derby County games,” he writes.
Rooney played for the Derby County team last Friday, but will now miss the next three club matches.
