Wilders points out that in some cities, mainly non-western immigrants are in hospital with corona. The PVV leader already brought this up in a tweet, which he received a lot of criticism. “Treatments and operations of Henk and Ingrid with cancer, heart failure or other diseases are being postponed again because the ICs are mainly occupied by Mohammed and Fatima who do not speak our language and do not respect the rules?”, Wilders tweeted.
“Racist shit”, said PvdA leader Lodewijk Asscher, among others. “Stop those opposing tweets”, wrote Rob Jetten (D66).
Wilders says he only wants to mention the facts. “If women are over-represented, then that should be said too. I’ll bring the facts.” The PVV also says that Dutch people with a non-Western background do not comply with the rules.
But that is not how DENK leader Farid Azarkan and SP leader Lilian Marijnissen see it. “How does Wilders think of putting people against each other over the backs of corona patients?” Says Marijnissen. Moreover, it is also the people who work in healthcare, according to the SP’er.
