It is not strange for me to represent Bulgaria. I was born in one continent, I grew up in another, and for 3 years I feel half Bulgarian and Sofia is my second home. Thus, the Chilean rock star Ronnie Romero, who is the current vocalist of “Rainbow”, announced his participation in Eurovision, where he will represent Bulgaria.

He will do it with the other supergroup, of which he has been a part for 3 years now – the Bulgarian rock band Intelligent Music Project. Romero is not the only star in it. On the drums is Stoyan Yankulov-Stundzhi, who is a kind of phenomenon for Eurovision, after he will participate for the third time. In 2007 and 2013 he appeared with his famous duet with Elitsa Todorova. The group also includes the singer Slavin Slavchev – winner of “X Factor”, who will play guitar. The bassist Dimitar Sirakov, Ivo Stefanov on the keyboards and Biser Ivanov – the guitarist, whom Simon Phillips announced as the successor of David Gilmore, will also appear on the stage.

“With our partners from BNT we believe that this international, but basically entirely Bulgarian project, working entirely for the name of Bulgaria in the world, will more than successfully represent our country at the upcoming edition of Eurovision. We have been working with my team at the highest world level for over 10 years now ”, explained Dr. Milen Vrabevski. He is not only the creator of the Intelligent Music Project, but the author of all tracks on the band’s six albums to date.

Vrabevski and his band are running for the BNT Eurovision Song Contest with six songs. The song Intention was chosen, in which there is nothing ballad-like, but it has a real rock sound and a meaningful message. At its core is the question of everyone’s inner struggle with outdated patterns of faith and behavior that pull them back.

The song and its music video will be shown in early December, and immediately afterwards the Intelligent Music Project will present it at a mini-tour. Eurovision 2022 will take place in Turin, Italy.
