Manchester. Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo from English football record champions Manchester United has defended his coach Ralf Rangnick against criticism.
“He arrived here five weeks ago and has changed a lot,” Ronaldo told Sky Sports. “But he needs time to get his ideas across to the players, including on the pitch. But I’m sure he’ll do a good job.”
Things are not going well for Man United, who are seventh in the table. After a successful start under Rangnick, the Red Devils have been struggling recently. “We knew beforehand that we weren’t playing the best football we needed to be,” said Ronaldo. “But we still have a lot of games to improve and I think since he arrived we’ve improved in a few ways.”
