Matteo Berrettini makes no mistake and hits the 3rd round ai Internationals of Italy (best result, equaled 2019). The 24-year-old from Rome, 8 ATP and fourth-seeded, beat the Argentine Federico Coria, 104 in the ranking, on the Central, with the partial of 7-5, 6-1.First set in which the game is played ‘on serve’ until the eighth game, then two consecutive breaks, with Matteo not archiving the practice on his own service. There the difference in talent on the pitch is too obvious and Berrettini (4 aces, three points lost with the first and 17 winners) snatches the serve from Coria, avoiding a dangerous tie-break and closing 7-5. The blue takes his measures, places a break at the opening of the second set and closes rather easily 6-1 in an hour and 20 ‘: in the 3rd round the derby awaits him with Stefano Travaglia, number 84 in the world and competing with a wild-card, which he beat 7-6, 7-5 the Croatian Borna Coric (26 ATP). The 28 year old from Ascoli Piceno thus wins his second victory in a 1000, both obtained against a Top 30.
