AS Roma badly lost to Inter Milan from A league. Coach Jor Mourinho vented his frustration at journalists in the press conference room.
Roma lost when they hosted Inter at the Stadio Olimpico, Rome, Italy, Sunday (5/12/2021) early morning hrs. The hosts were humiliated 0-3.
All Inter goals nested in the first half. After Hakan Calhanoglu scored in the 15th minute, Edin Dzeko doubled the score in the 24th minute, plus the last goal from Denzel Dumfries in the 40th minute.
The defeat made AS Roma stuck in fifth place in the Italian League standings with 25 points from 16 matches. Temporary Inter Milan in second place with 37 points.
After the game, Mourinho refused to answer all the reporters’ questions. He even quipped reporters, for whatever reason.
“Your job is much easier than ours, which is why we get paid more from You,” he said, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Furthermore, Mourinho chose to describe the results of the match himself. He admitted that Inter played better than his team.
“Inter were better than us, on a good day. Inter were objectively better than us. It was a very difficult game tonight because several players were absent,” he said.
“They finished 29 points above us last season. We had three big chances, two of which came at 0-0,” said the former coach of Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
