Tony Godsick, agent for Roger Federer, confirmed this Monday to Miami Herald that the winner of 20 Grand Slams will not take part in the Miami Open 2021, a tournament that will be held from March 24 to April 4 and which usually marks the opening of the Masters 1000 each season.
According to Godsick, ‘His Majesty’ will play the ATP 250 Doha (Qatar) next week and will most likely take part of the ATP 500 in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) in the week of March 15. The objective of the winner of the Helvetian is to prepare in the best way the tour on brick dust, whose summit event is Roland Garros between the end of May and the beginning of June.
