ADDIS ABABA – Two airports in the state of Amhara, Ethiopia, hit by a rocket on Friday night local time. The battle heats up.

“One rocket hit the airport in Gondar and damaged part of the building on Friday night (13/11),” said spokesman for the central zone of Gondar, Awoke Worku.

The second rocket was fired at the same time and landed outside the airport in Bahir Dar.

The government blames the Tigray ruling party, the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF). (Also read: Massacre in Ethiopia, Civilians of One City hacked to death)
