Robert Conrad, American TV star, died at 84

He had notably played James T. West in the famous series “The mysteries of the West”.

He had burst the small screen in Mysteries of the West and Burned heads. American actor Robert Conrad died at the age of 84, the American press reported on Saturday February 8.

After working as a milkman and then singing in a night club, his career took off in 1959 when he joined the television show “Hawaiian Eye” after moving to Los Angeles, remember People (article in English). Between 1965 and 1969, he played the role of American secret service agent James T. West in the now famous series Mysteries of the West. This series served as the basis for Wild wild west (1999), one of the most expensive films ever made, in which Will Smith plays the role of James T. West.

Robert Conrad also made himself famous in 1976 with the series Burnt heads in which he plays Major “pappy” Boyington, at the head of a squadron of tough, rebellious American pilots during the war with Japan. He made his last film appearance in 2002.
