‘Robbed’ Rp 2.6 T, AGO Names 5 LPEI Corruption Suspects

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The number of suspects related to allegations of corruption in the implementation of national export financing by the Indonesian Export Financing Agency (LPEI) in 2013-2019 continues to grow to 12 people. Recently, the investigative team at the Directorate of Investigation of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Attorney General’s Office has named five new suspects.

They are:

a. AS as the Managing Director IV/Financing Committee and as the breaker from the beginning to the end of the Swallow Group as well as the Managing Director of the Three LPEIs for the 2016 period and as the Financing Committee (Cutter) of the Johan Darsono Group

b. FS as Head of SME Financing Division 2015-2018

c. JAS as Head of Regional Office (Kakanwil) LPEI Surakarta 2016 period

d. JD as Director of PT Mount Dreams Indonesia

e. S as Director of PT. Jasa Mulia Indonesia, PT. Mulia Swallow Indonesia and PT. Indonesian Borneo Swallow

“To speed up the investigation process, the five suspects were subsequently detained,” said Head of the Attorney General’s Office for Legal Information, Leonard Eben Ezer in a press statement, Thursday (6/1/2022).

The details of the detention of the five suspects are:
a. The United States was detained for 20 days from January 6, 2022 to January 25, 2022 at the Salemba State Detention Center (Rutan) of the Attorney General’s Office Branch;

b. FS was detained for 20 days from January 6, 2022 to January 25, 2022 at the Salemba State Detention Center (Rutan) of the Attorney General’s Office Branch;

c. JAS was detained for 20 days starting from January 6, 2022 to January 25, 2022 at the Salemba State Detention Center (Rutan) of the South Jakarta District Attorney’s Office;

d. JD was detained for 20 days from January 6, 2022 to January 25, 2022 at the Salemba State Detention Center (Rutan) of the Attorney General’s Office Branch;

e. S was detained for 20 days from January 6, 2022 to January 25, 2022 at the Salemba State Detention Center (Rutan) of the South Jakarta District Attorney’s Branch;
